Sun Tiki Studios has hosted nearly 600 shows since we opened in the spring of 2018. We met hundreds of great bands and thousands of beautiful people and are so grateful to all of them for making the venue such a special place. While we will miss having live shows, we are happy to be able to continue offering hourly rehearsals and recording. And who knows what the future may hold...

Sun Tiki Studios is an all-ages live music venue and art performance space on a busy street in Portland, Maine that got its name from the tanning parlor 'Sun Tiki Tanning' that once occupied the spot. By day and on non-show nights, it is a full-service practice facility with everything you need to rehearse. On show nights, it becomes a live music and art performance venue, showcasing a wide array of talented local, regional, national, and international artists.

We strive to be a home for local musicians as well as a destination for traveling musicians. Each and every show at our venue is all-ages and we promise to provide a safe space free of judgement in any form.
